Hi, I’m Mike, and I combine a passion for personal finance and investing with market expertise to provide a singular real estate experience to each of my clients. An Atlanta resident since 1995, I’ve lived all over the city, from Johns Creek to Roswell to Norcross to Lilburn, experiencing firsthand many of the amazing neighborhoods in the Metro Atlanta area. Currently a Smyrna resident, I live with my fiancee, Laryssa, and our two dogs, the sweetest hound mix named Daisy, and our sassy little Yorkie, Cocoa, who runs the house. We love the city for its culture, community and convenience.
After earning an economics degree from the University of Georgia, I decided to join a small tutoring company, teaching competitive debate at schools in Cobb, Gwinnett, and Fulton County. My passion for personal finance and investing led me to real estate. After pouring countless hours into learning real estate investing, I was able to buy my first home and first income-producing property all at once by purchasing a duplex. When that first rent check came in, I was immediately hooked by the power of real estate and decided that not only did I want to build a portfolio for my own family, but that I wanted to help others buy and sell real estate as well.
Clients appreciate my ability, as a former teacher, to retain, package and communicate information easily, whether negotiating a financially beneficial transaction or using my unique expertise (as someone who has bought and renovated multiple houses) to guide and advise. Seeing the look of happiness at the closing table gives me a deep sense of joy.
I work with a lot of investors looking to build wealth through real estate, whether it’s their first property or their tenth. However, I also work with a lot of traditional buyers and sellers that appreciate a financially savvy point of view. Ultimately my goal is to be a resource that you can count on.
