Bruce Cutting brings over 25 years of client service, contract negotiation, and strategic marketing planning to Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. As you’ll see in the Testimonials from Bruce’s clients, he uses deep local knowledge and a full range of technical skills to ensure his clients have an exceptional experience.
He believes that buying or selling a property is the core of a multi-dimensional process calling for deep client insight, planning skills, and a relentless “can do” attitude to achieve clients’ goals. According to Bruce, “Almost every home purchase or property sale involves a significant life transition for my client, and my goal is to ensure their transition is as positive as possible.” This includes managing circumstances such as guiding downsizing clients who’ve owned a property for many years through getting their home on market, assisting second-home buyers in fully exploring everything they are looking for in their new home and community, or helping a family through a transition that includes both selling and buying at the same time.
Bruce is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and holds an MBA from Babson College. He has earned national awards for marketing programs, has been recognized by the Public Employee Roundtable for exceptional service to the public employee community. His professional training includes Xerox Sales Skills Spectrum, Disney Institute Quality Service, and Perdue University Negotiations Certification.
Bruce handles real estate transactions throughout coastal and bayside Rhode Island, from Westerly to Barrington (and even Prudence Island). He grew up on the beaches of Barrington and Middletown and has sailed all over Narragansett Bay. He lives in Kingston with his spouse and two well-trained White West Highland Terriers.
