Deborah Cohen

Deborah brings a wealth of experience in marketing, publishing and higher education.
Being a native New Yorker, she graduated from CUNY Queens College with a BA in
accounting and business. Debbie has been employed at several top publishing
companies (Meredith, Hearst, CondeNast). Primarily, having worked on home-
related magazines in advertising sales with a focus both on new business
development and maintaining and servicing existing accounts. In this capacity, she
had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of corporate clients from large
retailers such as Lowes and Home Depot to furniture manufacturers and home
furnishing companies. After achieving her corporate goals, Debbiedecided to follow her
entrepreneurial spirit and passion for assisting others by starting her own
company “Divercity” College Consulting LLC. She became an independent college
advisor to high school students in underserved communities after a short stint as
a college admissions counselor. She also volunteered at high schools working with
low-income students to assist in completion of their college financial aid forms
and became a notary to sign documents. Building past relationships in the home
industry and serving my community was a great segue into real estate. Deborah decided
to pursue a career in real estate and made a seamless transition where she plans to
continue professional development and career path. Deborah is willing to go above
and beyond for my clients and assist them in turning their real estate dreams into
reality.
