Fred Bond joined William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty following a 30 year career of outstanding client service in financial markets. He is a native New Yorker who grew up in Bronxville and graduated from St. Lawrence University. Fred started his career at Merrill Lynch and studied at night to receive his MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business. His work focused on marketing and selling equity securities, bringing buyers and sellers together and balancing their respective needs. Transacting with international customers brought the added challenge of managing diverse cultural approaches to deal making. This helped Fred to develop excellent composure and negotiating skills amidst emotional circumstances. Fred returned to Bronxville to raise his family. He and his wife Mary-Louise identified Litchfield County as a highly compelling location to purchase a four season second home to enjoy with their three daughters, son and two dogs. Its rolling terrain filled with rivers, brooks, lakes, pastures, highland plateaus, old growth forests and expansive vistas is easily accessed from southern New York, yet offers a calming lifestyle that makes one feel a long, long way from home. They bought a second home in Roxbury and liked it so much that they moved there full time in 2012. Fred is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Connecticut Association of Realtors and the Litchfield County Board of Realtors. He is a member of the Roxbury Recreation Commission and Head Dishwasher at the Roxbury Senior Center monthly lunch. Clients can count on Fred to tirelessly search for the property that best delivers the lifestyle they seek. Sellers can depend upon his strong marketing skills to most fully leverage their featured amenities and achieve maximum exposure to buyers.
