Mike attended Hartwick College where he received a BA in Business Administration followed by a few years of living in northern California before he and his wife settled in Vermont in 2011. Access to the outdoors, a passionate agricultural community, and a family-friendly lifestyle drew Mike to the Green Mountain State.
For the last eight years he has worked with his wife Melissa to build Tanglebloom, their cut flower farm and floral design business focusing on inspired sustainable floristry. In also operating a farm stand in their community and welcoming travelers with agritourism opportunities, their emphasis on hospitality is very clear, as is their exquisite attention to detail in all that they do.
Mike enjoys exploring the landscapes of Vermont with his family through hiking, paddling, and skiing as well as backcountry camping. He gains great satisfaction from carpentry and home renovation projects and is currently renovating a 1940s-era cabin as part of his personal real estate investment portfolio. Embracing the seasons of Vermont, Mike appreciates processing his own firewood and various gardening ventures. Mike epitomizes the spirit of Vermont, always goes above and beyond, and truly enjoys helping others discover the infinite pleasures of life in the Green Mountain State.
