Kristin Hurd

Kristin Hurd comes from a long lineage of real estate entrepreneurs. In the 1950s, her grandfather started the largest and one of the most successful real estate firms in Ohio.

Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, Kristin had a dynamic career working in digital media advertising and later transitioned into real estate. In real estate, she has managed over 200 real estate brokers and has overseen over $1 billion in transactions. Over the course of her extensive career, she has received some of the most prestigious broker awards in the industry, including Rookie of the Year and Manager of the Year, and most recently was named on the list of Notables in Real Estate 2021 by Crain’s New York Business. Her talent for selling and managing new developments has allowed her to work one-on-one with international investment banks, hedge funds, and some of New York and New Jersey’s largest real estate developers.

Just before joining Sotheby’s International Realty, she was part of the executive team at one of the most respected and successful firms in New York City as the head of corporate strategy and business development.

Her philosophy reflects the fundamental belief that her job is to be of service to her clients. Kristin’s services are individually tailored to her clients’ needs. As a result, she has a long list of very happy clients.

She has spent a great deal of time performing philanthropic work and has actively worked with the Human Rights Campaign to raise millions of dollars in their efforts.

Kristin is married and has a seven-year-old. As a family they are often featured in LGBTQ national advertising campaign’s such as J.Crew and The Peninsula Hotels. In her free time, she loves to entertain, spend time with friends, and enjoys a great game night.
