Michael Babbitt

I am a Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE), Certified REO Property Specialist (CRPS), and Certified Short Sale Specialist (CSSS). I have several years working in real estate, learning from some of the best agents and teams in the area. In that time I've picked up all the real estate knowledge necessary to succeed in the industry, however it's my wide-ranging and comprehensive earlier skills and experience that will allow me to be one of the area's best agents. With 14 years of experience in the legal profession, spending most of that time managing a law office, there is hardly a legal issue that can arise during the buying or selling of a property that I have not encountered. After leaving the law office, I added entrepreneurism and digital acumen to my skill set, acting as president and CEO of a computer consulting startup. It was there that I saw my calling in real estate, and have been working in real estate ever since. In addition to those professional accomplishments, I have been very involved in local government and improving the community for the last 14 years. Serving as Chair of the City of West Linn Planning Commission, Board Member of the West Linn Chamber of Commerce, advisor to the City's Sustainability Commission, and a member of the Infill and Planned Unit Development Task Force. I am also on the Board of Directors for the non-profit company Youth Building Green and was Vice-Chair of the Oregon Young Professionals Network. When not working in real estate, for the city, or as a volunteer, I love spending time with my family and experiencing new things.
