A native of Richmond, Virginia, Mari has spent the last 30 years cultivating a love of the Champlain Valley and forming extensive connections within the local community. Mari began her career at UVM, but a lifelong fascination with every aspect of home design and a natural talent for collaboration led her to real estate. A love of architectural and landscape design coupled with a lifetime of travel to locales as far flung as Greece, Italy, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the Maldives, with extended periods in England and Ecuador, lend Mari a deep insight into the entire spectrum of what makes a house a home: exterior, interior, lighting, fixtures, and beyond. With her exceptional eye for detail, passion for close collaboration, and extensive knowledge of the local market, Mari offers an extraordinary ability to provide clients with what they’re looking for, whether it is finding the perfect new home or getting the absolute maximum value for their current one.
In addition to spending time with her husband, daughter, and two sons, Mari allocates a considerable amount of her energy to community service. It is a cornerstone of her personal philosophy that all people, no matter their background or personal situation, need to be treated with kindness and dignity. Mari has put this belief into practice through cooking and serving meals at food shelves and community kitchens including the Salvation Army, teaching new Americans to read, engaging with seniors at assisted living facilities, and a variety of other community service endeavors.
Of the many places Mari has traveled, she has chosen to spend her life and raise her family in the Champlain Valley because she believes that Vermont is truly special. Her promise is to help you with every step in the process of making your home here and to make all of your real estate goals a reality.
