A graduate of St. Paul’s School and Trinity College, she is a resident of the Upper East Side with her husband and their three children. She also received her master’s degree in psychological counseling from Teachers College at Columbia University. Merrill serves on the Women's Board of the Boys Club of New York and is on the committee of New York-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital.
