Joy Kimmelman has been a real estate sales agent for over 20 years. She first entered the world of New York City real estate as a buyer. Determined to find the right home for her growing family, she combed through real estate listings, studied neighborhoods, and responded to an ad placed by a listing agent. Displaying kindness, patience, and an incredible knowledge of what it takes to close a deal, Joy chose this agent to list and sell her co-op apartment and to assist with the purchase of her new home.
Joy proudly joined Sotheby’s International Realty as a member of The Glenn Minnick Team bringing a wealth of invaluable experience to buyers, sellers, and investors alike, many of whom The Glenn Minnick Team has worked with on multiple transactions. Over the years, Joy has assisted in the sale of townhouses, condominiums, cooperative apartments, and luxury condominium rentals. Her high energy level and get-up-and-go attitude make her a natural for the fast pace world of Manhattan real estate. Her approach is a simple one - replicate her own positive, personal experiences as a NYC property seller, buyer, and renter. Joy is upfront and direct, listens to the needs of her clients, and confidently guides them through the daunting process of NYC real estate sales and rentals. Joy is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York.
Joy is a native New Yorker who has raised two children in Manhattan and lives in an historic townhouse in Carnegie Hill. In her free time, she enjoys long walks with her dog, a pure bred mutt adopted from a shelter, and is an avid indoor cycling enthusiast.
