Steve Branham

Sales associate Steve Branham comes to Premier Sotheby's International Realty's St. Armands office following a distinguished career in the United States Coast Guard. He received a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a Master of Business Administration in finance from Case Western Reserve University and a masters in national security strategy from the National Defense University. Steve's Coast Guard career culminated in serving at the rank of Rear Admiral as the Chief Financial Officer of the Coast Guard and later as Commander, Seventh Coast Guard District, directing over 11,000 men and women in the Southeast United States and the Caribbean. He has also worked in senior leadership positions in the private sector, and with more than 40 years of experience, is widely recognized for his strong leadership, relentless pursuit of excellence and exemplary reputation as a trusted advisor. Having been raised himself in a military family, Steve relocated numerous times around the country as both a child and later as an adult during his 37-year career. Those experiences have provided him with a strong understanding for the value of finding the right property at the best location with the optimal mix of attributes for the greatest value. Originally from Pensacola and now residing in Longboat Key, Steve has served the local community in a variety of capacities, including chairman of the town's Consolidated Pension Board of Trustees, president of the Board of Directors of the SunCoast Blood Bank and president of the Longboat Key Kiwanis Club. He is also a member of the Longboat Key Garden Club, where his wife, Susan Phillips, is president. In his spare time, Steve and Susan enjoy the wonderful lifestyle of residing in Longboat Key, such as boating, visiting the beach, kayaking and entertaining friends in their home.
