Closing over $57,000,000 in 2020, that trend has continued as she has brokered the three of the highest residential sales in the region - listing and selling $9,300,000 in Transylvania County, $9,500,000 in Buncombe County as a buyer's agent and $9,600,000 as a buyer's agent in 2023. Continuing to shatter her own records, she has closed over $113 million to date in 2023 as an individual agent - solidifying her as a regional expert.

As a seventh-generation western North Carolina resident, Marilyn has a phenomenal understanding of the region and a clear perception of what a client may desire. She possesses a superior understanding of luxury home design and construction. Marilyn spent 15 years heading up one of western North Carolina's largest luxury homebuilding companies. She was involved in the process from the site selection, architect review process, design, and lead construction until the move-in date in the region's top communities: Biltmore Lake, The Ramble, and Biltmore Forest.

Outside of real estate, Marilyn loves to spend time with her family. She has a love of hiking, biking, camping, traveling, gardening, and spending time in national parks. Marilyn is a current board member for Friends of the Smokies, assisting the National Park Service in its mission to preserve and protect the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

She is married to her husband Tim and has three adult children plus two Labrador babies, Lady Magdalene and Caesar Gunnison - Maggie and Gunny.
