WHY REAL ESTATE?

Although at the time she didn’t see her beginnings as humble, Jayne grew up with her family in their Alaskan mobile home and was taught that happiness didn’t come from things but from relationships. She relished having her grandparents live nearby and remembers her home fondly as a place that was happy, clean, and filled with the people she loved.It was perhaps those early years that cemented her belief that everyone should have a safe and comfortable place to live, regardless of budget. She finds special joy in helping a first-time home buyer find the home that’s right for them—especially if they’ve come from situations where they weren’t shown much interest due to their limited budget, or where they didn’t believe owning a home was possible for them.

WORKING WITH JAYNE

Jayne is known for her tenacious ability to find ways around obstacles and to solve the inevitable challenges that clients face. She also believes that no one should ever feel rushed in the buying or selling process—and that no question is unimportant. Because she sees good communication as vital to her work, she’s committed to being available and returning calls quickly.Jayne works hard to listen well, establish trust, and educate her clients on what to expect, which can help relieve the stress that often accompanies buying or selling property.Because she has had so many life experiences like divorce, marriage, moving, and loss of a loved one, she also understands the emotional side of buying and selling property. She can still recall the pain of having to move things out of her grandparents’ home where they had lived for 50 years. She knows that finding the right home or buyer can take time and can’t be rushed. But with persistence, patience, and a drive to overcome obstacles, she also knows that many who thought they wouldn’t be able to buy or sell their property have been delighted to realize they could.

ON WALLA WALLA

Walla Walla has been a part of Jayne’s family history dating back to the early 1900s. Dr. Mead Coon, Jayne’s great grandfather, was a physician in the Walla Walla Valley until 1920. In 1933, they relocated to Alaska where Jayne was born and raised. She returned to her family roots by moving here in 2000, where she has helped many clients buy or sell property in this beautiful valley.

OUTSIDE OF WORK

Jayne and her husband start their day with morning rhythms that set the tone for gratitude, joy, spirituality, and love in their life. Outside of work, she’s happy being in nature, camping, fishing, baking, cooking, traveling, going on mission trips, and having her daughter and granddaughters close. She’s also been known to deliver a fresh pie from her kitchen as a gift to her home buyers.
