Jean Chamberlain

With over 40 years in the real estate business and as a native Vermonter, it comes naturally to me to share my extensive knowledge of the real estate market along with my love of the Rutland area, its people, breathtaking scenery and recreational opportunities. Born and raised on a farm in Clarendon, I learned the value of hard work at an early age. My work ethic, honesty and experience allow me to provide you with exceptional service in selling your current home or finding the righ new home. As a member of the newly formed Green Mountain Board of Realtors, I just completed a two-year term as Secetary and member of the Board of Directors of the former Rutland County Board of Realtors; a position I'd previously held for two terms. A member of RCBR for over 40 years, I also regularly served on numerous committees. As a 30 year member of Grace Community Church in Rutland, I'm a deaconess and former chair of Church School Committee for 6 years as well as part of the Rutland Community Cupboard mission for the past 15 years. In any free time, you'll find me kayaking, walking, gardening, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and spending time with my family (including my new granddaughter!) and friends. My husband Brent and I live in Chittenden and are fortunate to have both our college educated, nicley employed children still living close by in Vermont! Currently, I am finding great pleasure in working with my children's friends (some whom I've known since Kindergarten or before) in the purchase of thier first home.
