Gay has 3 sons (one who passed away in 2021 and who was a three-time Olympian and a Commercial pilot), her oldest son works at Cartier as a Project Manager, and her youngest son was a catcher on Great Britain's National Baseball Team and was playing baseball in Australia, Germany, Sweden , and a Restaurant Manager too! He has been coaching baseball in the Westchester area and is in now into film and photography!. Her past experiences include being an Editor for the Adirondack LUGE Club Newsletter 'On The Fast Track', Past Trustee of the Board for the Scarsdale Adult School for eight years, Advisory Board Member, Soccer Manager, a Baseball coach, a past PTA Treasurer and Student Advocate for two years. Gay has volunteered in Special Education classes, The New Rochelle Humane Society, taught cooking classes at the local Boys & Girls Club for 2 years, donated a scholarship for 7 years at the New Rochelle High School 'The Power to Excel Award' which was awarded to a learning or physically challenged student, and delivered Meals on Wheels for 7 years with her children when they were younger. Gay volunteers at the Swim Across America event each year and is a proud Sponsor of the New Rochelle Thanksgiving Turkey Trot Race benefiting local charities.
